Job Title: Lecturer of Microbiology--Spring 2025 Campus: Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, NJ Department: Department of Biological Sciences-Metro Hiring Manager: Janet Boyd Hiring Manager Title: Interim Dean College: Becton College Position Type: Faculty Grade: Faculty FLSA: Exempt Faculty Rank: Lecturer Salary: Commensurate with Experience Status: Full-Time Months Worked: 9 Month Job Summary: The Maxwell Becton College of Arts & Sciences at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan Campus, seeks a broadly trained biologist for appointment to a lecturer position for the Spring 2025 semester. The successful candidate will develop and teach Microbiology (lecture and labs), required for Biology, Nursing and other science and pre-health majors. This position may extend to Fall 2025, depending upon budgetary approval. The successful candidate will develop and teach a graduate lecture and or lab course in their area of expertise. Candidates with expertise in microbiology and cellular and molecular biology will be considered.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline; postdoctoral research and teaching experience is preferred.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
