Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs.
File and organize legal documents, both electronically and in hard copy.
Manage and update case files, client records, and internal databases.
Assist with document discovery, including organizing and managing documents for cases.
Communicate professionally with clients, court officials, and third-party vendors.
Handle incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring timely follow-up.
Assist in preparing materials for hearings, depositions, and trials.
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive legal matters.
Coordinate and manage billing and invoicing for client matters.
Perform other administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with legal software systems such as Clio, LexisNexis, or Westlaw.
Familiarity with e-filing and court procedures in various jurisdictions.
Experience in specific areas of law (e.g., corporate law, litigation, family law).
Notary Public certification.
Knowledge of billing and invoicing systems related to legal services.
