Legal Administrator
Description We are offering an opportunity for a Legal Administrator in the legal industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves responding to client inquiries, managing data entry, and maintaining documentation in databases. This is a short-term contract position that provides a mix of remote and in-office duties, with flexible scheduling that may include weekends and evenings. Responsibilities: • Respond to inquiries from potential clients via phone and email, gathering information for case screening. • Prioritize customer service, showing enthusiasm and compassion when interacting with potential clients. • Follow up with potential clients that are difficult to reach. • Enter data into spreadsheets or other software programs as part of client intake. • Process and maintain documentation in databases. • Use Case Management Software, Adobe Acrobat, and other tools for effective client communication and data management. • Display strong written and verbal skills to effectively interact with clients. • Show attention to detail in gathering accurate information from clients. • Work both independently and as part of a team to manage time and tasks effectively. • Demonstrate understanding and empathy towards potential clients, making them feel comfortable in providing sensitive and confidential personal information. Requirements • Possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Legal Administrator or in a similar role. • Proficient in using Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, and CompuLaw. • Familiarity with Conveyancer, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, and Calendar Management is essential. • Ability to manage Claim Administration, Collection Processes, and Client communications. • Skilled in conducting Phone Screens, Client Intake, and Data Entry tasks. • Strong written communication skills are required. • Must demonstrate compassion in all interactions. • Previous experience with client communications and intake is desirable. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions. • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
