Legal Administrator
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Administrator in Hingham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be providing support to our legal team by managing emails, voicemails, and drafting legal documents. You will also be responsible for managing our case management software and performing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage incoming emails and voicemails, ensuring all messages are responded to in a timely manner. • Prioritize and manage daily tasks and updates as communicated by team members. • Draft and prepare legal motions and letters to opposing counsel, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal guidelines. • Utilize case management software for effective tracking and managing of cases. • Prepare and organize forms and documents for review by the attorney. • Manage and maintain the attorney's calendar, scheduling appointments and reminders as necessary. • Participate in claim administration tasks, ensuring all claims are properly filed and managed. • Oversee and manage billing functions, ensuring all bills are accurate and sent out in a timely manner. • Use Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, CompuLaw, Conveyancer, and other software tools to perform job functions efficiently. • Perform collection processes as necessary, ensuring all payments are collected and recorded accurately. Requirements • Proficiency in using Aderant, a popular legal practice management software. • Demonstrated ability to effectively use Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing. • Familiarity with Case Management Software to efficiently handle legal case files. • Experience with CompuLaw for accurate legal calendaring and risk management. • Proficiency in using Conveyancer software for real estate transactions. • Ability to manage Benefit Functions such as employee benefits and compensation. • Experience in Billing Functions, including invoice generation, payment tracking, and financial reporting. • Strong skills in Calendar Management, effectively scheduling appointments, meetings, and deadlines. • Experience in Claim Administration, dealing with legal claims and dispute resolution. • Familiarity with Collection Processes, including debt recovery and financial negotiations.
