Legal Analyst/Executive Assistant
**Job Description:** Executive Assistant provides senior executive level administrative and project support to members of the Legal Department Leadership Team and other designated members of the Legal Department. Depending on the assignment, this highly visible position directly interacts with the senior leaders of Intermountain Health, members of the community and government agencies. The Legal Analyst-Executive Assistant must use judgment in composing correspondence, preparing reports, scheduling meetings and appointments, and determining the appropriate person with whom to address incoming requests, questions or other correspondence. This is a hybrid position and will require 1-2 days in office. Office location: Key Bank Tower **Essential Functions** + Supports the administrative functions of their assigned Legal Department member by scheduling meetings and appointments, preparing agendas and meeting minutes, submitting expense reports, managing calendars, coordinating travel and planning events, maintaining business filings and registrations, and completing other duties as assigned. + Completes assignments in a timely and professional manner and is detail oriented. + Provides advanced level support in remote meeting management and is highly proficient in, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and other programs as necessary to assist with reports and presentations. + Maintains proficiency with the legal department's matter management system (Legal Tracker) and other Intermountain software systems as applicable (e.g., Boardvantage, Workfront, PeopleSoft, Workday). + Understands legal environments and protects operations by keeping sensitive information confidential. + Actively supports the department’s goals. **Skills** + Administrative Support + Communication (Verbal and Written) + Problem Solving + Client Relationships + Interpersonal / Teaming **Required Qualifications** + Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders (preferably vice president or higher) in a large organization. + Experience in a role requiring a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified. + Five years of experience as an executive secretary supporting senior leaders (vice president or higher) in a large organization or in a law firm supporting Partner level attorneys. + Experience in a role requiring a high level of professionalism, diplomacy, sound judgment, and interpersonal skills. + Experience providing administrative support in one or more of these areas: health care operations, litigation, transactions, and/or governance. **Physical Requirements:** **Physical Requirements** + Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. + Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. + Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc. + For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles. **Location:** Key Bank Tower **Work City:** Salt Lake City **Work State:** Utah **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
