This role is for a mid-senior level Legal Assistant who will provide dedicated support in a one-on-one capacity to a Labour & Employment partner. As one of the busiest departments in the firm, the successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running, working efficiently and proactively from day one. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless support to the partner.

Responsibilities:Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, book travel arrangements, and handle administrative tasks such as photocopying, printing, and sending out correspondence.Handle internal and external communication, including telephone queries, emails, and posts, ensuring messages are passed on and client correspondence reaches the appropriate lawyer.Support client relationship management by maintaining CRM data, handling client queries, and arranging client meetings.Assist in document production by reviewing and amending documents, and typing confidential correspondence as needed.Aid in financial processes by ensuring proper time recording, assisting with billing, generating prebill reports, and managing payments.Collaborate with colleagues across departments, offering support as needed and assisting with team duties and additional responsibilities as requested.Ensure smooth operations within the department by coordinating absences, and coverage, and managing filing and record-keeping tasks.Qualifications:3 – 5+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Legal Administrative Assistant certificate.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other systems. Knowledge of ACL, iManage and Primafact would be beneficial. A background in Labour & Employment legal support would be an asset
