Description Legal Assistant opportunity with an established employment defense firm located in El Segundo, California. This role involves a range of responsibilities including legal research, e-filing, trial preparation, and managing legal documentation. Responsibilities: • Propose, respond to, and summarize discovery in a timely manner • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation • Assist with the preparation of pleadings and motions • Manage e-filing in both state and federal courts to ensure all documents are submitted correctly • Maintain an organized calendar to manage deadlines and appointments • Prepare for trials by organizing and reviewing necessary legal documentation • Use CompuLaw for efficient calendar management • Apply your Civil Litigation Experience to handle various cases • Utilize e-File and e-Filing systems for document management and submission Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role within a litigation firm.
