Description Our client, a top global AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking to add a Legal Assistant to the team. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and filing UCC and experience with Article 9. The ideal candidate will be professional and be able to work with integrity. The candidate will be supporting the Debt Finance, Capital Markets and Infrastructure, and M& A teams. If this sounds like you, apply, and let's chat! Responsibilities + Coordination of lien search projects and analysis of results + Will work on UCC corporate transactions. Understand what UCC is and offer guidance for Article 9 and filing a UCC. Lawyers will review their work but Legal Assistant should have it 99% ready to be reviewed. + Review of relevant security or pledge agreements or aircraft mortgages or leases + Preparation of UCC Financing Statements, Amendments, Assignments, Continuations and Terminations + Review and audit UCC filings to ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements + Coordination of UCC filing projects + Compile and review UCC filing acknowledgments + Ensure proper entry of UCC filing data into Firm’s UCC Tool database + Follow up with relevant parties regarding UCC expiration notifications + Provide training on UCC filing preparation, lien search ordering and use of UCC Tool database + Assist with UCC seminar presentations Requirements Qualifications + At least 4-5 years of experience + Bachelor's degree with a 3.5 GPA and above + Clear and concise writing skills + Good verbal communication skills + Related work and/or internship experience + Excellent organizational skills + Willingness and ability to work overtime and long hours Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
