Legal Assistant
Description We are in search of a Legal Assistant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is integral to our organization and involves assisting attorneys in reviewing and processing a variety of contract documents, answering client inquiries, and maintaining legal resources. The Legal Assistant will also be tasked with scheduling meetings, handling mailings, and collaborating with both clients and attorneys. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant contribution. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in reviewing, processing, and following up on various contract documents • Handle client calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner • Schedule meetings and manage attorneys' calendars • Handle mailings and ensure all correspondence is sent out as required • Collaborate effectively with clients and attorneys • Maintain legal files and ensure they are up to date and organized • Update legal resources as necessary • Perform time entry/billing tasks • Carry out minimal paralegal duties as required • Utilize advanced software skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Pro for various tasks • Ensure electronic/paperless files are kept up to date and well organized • Perform legal secretarial work including drafting client correspondence and file maintenance. Email your resume directly to rosemarie.jonesroberthalf. < com > Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat • Demonstrated experience in calendar management • Proven ability to handle client relations in a professional manner • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Familiarity with Corporate Real Estate matters • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing Contracts • Experience with Real Estate Contracts • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • High level of attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Pro and redlining experience required • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
