Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Chicago, Illinois, United States. This role primarily revolves around assisting with a special corporate governance project. As a Legal Assistant, you will be instrumental in reviewing, editing and managing corporate governance documents, creating reports, and handling tasks related to document management. Responsibilities • Manage and oversee both electronic and physical scanning, printing, and filing tasks • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and take a proactive approach to tasks • Accurately track and reflect the status of documents by creating reports using Excel and/or SharePoint Lists • Handle confidential and personally identifiable information with utmost discretion • Review and edit corporate governance documents, including resolutions, meeting minutes, and related materials. Requirements • Proficiency in Contract Interpretation • Comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Governance • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Scanning equipment • Proficiency in Scanning Documents.
