Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Houston, Texas. The role involves working within a busy litigation division of a law firm and providing crucial support to multiple attorneys. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process legal documents and credit applications • Keep up-to-date and accurate records of client credit • Manage and respond to client inquiries promptly • Monitor client accounts and take necessary actions • Coordinate calendar deadlines in adherence to the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure • File documents online in both state and federal courts • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, and Adobe for various tasks • Maintain a high level of organization and multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Work independently and take initiative when necessary.
