Legal Assistant Job ID 208076 Posted 28-Feb-2025 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Administrative, Legal Location(s) Los Angeles - California - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Legal Assistant, you will provide a wide range of administrative and general support duties for the global Corporate Legal team. This role involves preparing legal documents, maintaining confidential files, assisting with project management, managing schedules, organizing meetings, and coordinating communication within the legal department and with external parties. This role requires exceptional professionalism and discretion, organizational skills and strong attention to detail. **What You’ll Do:** + Plan, coordinate, and support meetings. + Assist in managing department and team communications, Microsoft Teams site, and other central repositories of information. + Assess incoming requests and determine appropriate response or point of contact. + Coordinate signatures on legal documents. + Maintain corporate records. + Track and maintain legal entity data in our online database. + Act as the main point of contact, in partnership with vendor(s), to ensure timely filings of legal entity reports. + Assist in managing law firm relationships, including liaising with billing teams and addressing invoice or related issues. + Process invoice payments for third-party vendors. + Manage expense reports. + Arrange domestic and international travel. + Assist with the coordination of the shareholder outreach program and other governance matters. + Assist in the coordination and management of special projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. + Suggest improvements to existing processes to improve the efficiency of the team. + Manage other projects as assigned. **What You’ll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. + Minimum 3 years legal assistant or executive assistant experience supporting a C-suite executive. + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred. + Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation preferred. + Excellent written and oral communication skills and judgment. + Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. + Comfort with technology and the ability to learn and integrate different software applications. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with hCue and iManage a plus. + High degree of organization, strong project management skills, and an inquisitive mindset. + The ability to operate comfortably in a highly professional and fast-paced environment. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $55,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $70,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
