Description Position: Paralegal/Legal Assistant Location: Richmond, VA Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in preparing for meetings with witnesses, clients, officers, and experts • Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses • Administer expert witness designations, motions, pre-trial scheduling orders, complaints, subpoenas, and subpoenas duces tecum • Manage and audit liens, including those associated with ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers' compensation • Utilize a case management system for tracking and managing cases • Schedule all trial-related meetings and calculate court deadlines • File pleadings in state and federal courts, court of appeals, and Virginia Supreme Court • Handle redaction of medical bills for use at trial • Perform other duties as assigned by the team For immediate and confidential consideration, please submit resumes directly to Vice President of Permanent Placement, Anne-Laure McGrory at anne-laure [dot] mcgrory [at] roberthalf [dot] [com].
