Legal Billing Consultant
**Job Title:** Interim Legal Billing Consultant **Location:** Downtown Chicago, East Loop **Employment Type:** Contract (3-6 months) **Start Date:** ASAP **Overview:** Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Consultant to join one of our clients' accounting teams located downtown Chicago. This role is designed for a proactive professional with expertise in legal billing who can immediately contribute to the team’s operational needs. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist with proforma edits and perform quality review of proforma edits. + Collaborate with the accounts receivable team by providing invoices and related support. + Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by management or other stakeholders. + Support general billing processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness. **Qualifications:** + Proven experience in legal billing, with the ability to start contributing immediately. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. + Familiarity with billing systems, with experience using platforms such as 3E preferred. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with team members. **Why Join Us:** This is an excellent opportunity to work with a prestigious client in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
