Legal Billing Specialist
Description Our client, a West LA firm is in search of a Legal Billing Specialist on a temp to hire basis. Day to day responsibilities: + Manage operations on e-billing platforms, including updating timekeeper statuses, rates, budgets, and user profiles. + Oversee and generate/edit monthly prebills. + Submit and manage bills on assigned e-billing platforms, including Legal Exchange submissions. + Handle billing submissions via email. + Print and sort monthly bills for distribution. Requirements Additional Responsibilities: + Perform other tasks or projects assigned by supervisors. + Serve as a backup for opening new matters and conducting conflict checks. Qualifications and Skills for Success: + Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. + Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet tight deadlines. + Willingness to learn and adapt to moderately complex computer systems. Preferred Experience: + 3 to 5 years of experience in legal billing. Education: + A college degree is preferred but not required.
