Legal Contracts Advisor
Are you a skilled negotiator with a passion for contracts? We're seeking a Legal Contract Advisor to join our dynamic team! You'll collaborate with the Office of General Counsel to review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial and legal standards. Responsibilities: + Efficiently review, draft, and negotiate contracts from a commercial perspective in collaboration with the Office of General Counsel. Examples include vendor agreements, service contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and partnership agreements. + Interpret and educate key stakeholders about commercial and legal requirements, obligations, and risk exposures to support the negotiation process. + Communicate contract terms clearly and concisely to business units and partners, including requirements, obligations, and risk exposures. + Identify areas of risk, including information security, intellectual property infringement, financial, and privacy exposure, for review by third-party stakeholders (such as InfoSec, Insurance, and Privacy). + Follow documented contracting processes and procedures, engaging key stakeholders and leveraging technical understanding of the contracting process. + Work efficiently to ensure contracts are timely negotiated and accurately executed. + Follow quality control processes and maintain close working relationships with commercial legal counsel and subject matter experts. + Understand business group requirements and ensure contract language meets those requirements. + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For: + Strong understanding of contractual terms and the ability to negotiate legal terms independently. + Excellent attention to detail, analytical abilities, and drafting skills. + Exceptional client service and communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex terms. + Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and work effectively within a team. + Preferred: Legal degree or Paralegal Certification.
