Role OverviewThe Legal Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day processes associated with maintaining the firm’s primary contracts repositories, along with associated contract management workflows. The individual will also support the management and upkeep of other knowledge management resources and tools, including but not limited to SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 solutions.
Responsibilitiesl Manage day-to-day administration of contracts, proposals, and related document management libraries. Ensure all documentation is compliant with the firm’s policies and regulations.
l Ensure the consistent application of enterprise taxonomy (i.e., document tagging and uploading to the various knowledge bases)
l Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance contract management workflows (e.g., support identification and deployment of a contract management system to regulate workflow processes) and work with Knowledge Management and Legal teams to implement new technology tools and process changes.
l Answer ad hoc staff questions and provide support to staff on knowledge processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications and Desired Skills 1-2 years of experience working in contract management/knowledge management or related roles.
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s in Library and Information Sciences, Information Architecture (or related field) preferred.
Ability to distinguish contract types (e.g., client, vendor, contractor) and classify accordingly.
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly SharePoint and MS Teams. Familiarity with Smartsheet or other project or document management tools is a plus.
Healthcare industry experience and/or an educational background in healthcare is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary range: $50,000-$60,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
