Among other things, you will: + Support legal services team in various matters notably through legal research, drafting of documents and preparation of litigation files. + Provide advice to internal clients on various legal issues in collaboration with the team's legal counsels. + Review and draft employment contracts, policies, agreements and various legal documents. + Organize and maintain litigation files and analysis tools. + Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory changes. + Manage the receipt of proceedings and the role of administrative tribunals. + Collaborate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the Legal Services service offering, including the development and deployment of tools and training for internal teams. + Collect information and process requests for access to personal information. + Occasionally participate to mediations or hearings. + Perform any other tasks required by the role. **How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:** + You have a bachelor's degree in law (LLB), or the equivalent; + You are a member of the Quebec Bar or an eligible Quebec Bar articling student; + You are a lawyer of up to two years of experience (or an articling student) motivated to develop your competencies in a dynamic corporate environment; + You have some experience or have taken university courses in labour and employment law, or have a keen interest in this field; + You are completely bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills; + You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; + You have strong organization skills and attention to detail and demonstrate a high level of initiative and rigor in a dynamic business environment; + You are familiar with most of the IT tools generally used in such positions (e.g. Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power point, Soquij, CanLII, etc.); + Experience or interest in data protection and privacy is an asset.
