An exciting opportunity is available with a rapidly expanding Dubai-based organisation at the forefront of revolutionizing maritime operations through cutting-edge software solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with specialised knowledge in maritime software to join our team.


As Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in managing a wide range of legal responsibilities, including corporate and commercial agreements, company secretarial duties, and regulatory compliance. This position involves close collaboration with business leaders, external advisors, and regulatory authorities.



Responsibilities:


Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial agreements and legal documents essential to our operations, including service contracts, IP agreements, rental contracts, and more. Support joint ventures, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Manage debt collection notices and coordinate with external legal advisors as needed. Develop and maintain a structured contract management process to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist with company secretarial tasks and regulatory matters.


Qualifications:

Law degree from a reputable university, with admission as a solicitor in England and Wales. Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with a focus on maritime software or Bunkers. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in cross-border transactions. Familiarity with the UAE regulatory environment is preferred. Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess legal risks.
