What You Will Be Doing

You will be strategically drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide-variety of commercial agreements for  ChargePoint’s cloud services, electrical vehicle (EV) charging equipment, and a number of associated innovative services across Europe. The position includes a substantial amount of communication with internal stakeholders and our customers while navigating novel and exciting matters.  The successful candidate should have experience in negotiating commercial and technology agreements and a proven track record of successfully and independently handling multiple transactions at the same time.

Draft, review, analyze, modify and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including SaaS agreements, master services agreement, purchase agreements, data sharing agreements, statements of work and others relating to the ChargePoint product portfolio. Get to experience and shape a fast changing market while working to establish answers to new legal questions. Interpret contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure and advise on same. Advise and partner with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, marketing and customer service teams as appropriate, in a continued effort to streamline contract related processes. Ensure conformity to business needs, proper risk allocation, and compliance with ChargePoint policies and procedures. Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders in order to resolve contractual issues and assist in disputes

 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint Position requires a law or business law degree or equivalent 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house at a fast-paced technology driven environment. Ability to draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements across Europe Customer-centric and solutions-oriented approach in supporting both external and internal clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations Experience in a global business environment with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and with strong attention to detail Ability to advise and deliver strong business results with limited resources, under tight deadlines, and with a high degree of accuracy Ability to understand and advise on complex product offerings integrating software, hardware, and services. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information Strong interest in the commercial and financial implications of legal agreements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset Strong work ethic with ability to work independently Fluent in English with the ability to work in German and French as a differentiating plus
