As part of Questel’s Group Legal Department and within the “Business contracts” Unit, under the management of its Legal Director, your responsibilities will include:
Management of contracts matters (client, subcontractor, external partner, etc…): drafting of template agreements, adaptation of templates, review of client’s agreement, lead of negotiation of agreements, etc…; Implementation of processes to structure and improve legal activity (e.g digitalization of contracts, internal processes to ensure management of legal and administrative documents, definition of standards in the fields and negotiation’s guidelines) in accordance with applicable regulations and group policies; maintain and organize contract database; Legal analysis of our business activities (regulatory aspects, applicable law requirements, stakes and risks): review/draft and validate documentation regarding legal matters, bring expertise and information on legal and regulatory framework, proposes action plans and define guidelines on legal aspects; Coordination between the company and its internal and external contacts and partners; includes work in collaboration with worldwide teams, including local legal teams, commercial and operation; Provision of intelligence activity in specific fields and assess impact/risks of new jurisprudence, evolution of regulations, deontology requirements, etc…

Master’s degree in IP law and commercial/business law or related discipline (civil law, contract law) Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as contracts/business legal counsel in a legal department Experience in a multinational environment and/or experience within a service sector company (IP service provider) Knowledge of Intellectual Property management and IT sector company
