This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 1-2 days per week in the Princeton, NJ office and the balance of the work week in a home office. You must reside in a geography that is commutable to Princeton. 

 

Your key responsibilities

Provide legal advice on commercial, operational and strategic plans to prevent/minimize negative legal consequences/exposureProactively stay abreast of developments on legislation, regulation and jurisprudence in fields of expertise and geographic areasDraft, negotiate and advise on contracts and contract related documents Handle all claims and cooperate in the coordinate litigationProvide regular updates and reports to management and other stakeholders on the status of ongoing matters, advising of potential risk and impacts on the organization.

You bring

Minimum 3 years of experience as Legal counsel in a corporate setting or in a law firmLicensed to practice law in the state of New JerseyA learning mentalityJudicial clerkship a plusStrong communication skills, written and verbalJuris Doctor degree from an accredited university
