This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days based in our Ponce City office Atlanta. #LI-MS1 Key Responsibilities: What will you be doing? We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead our North America Legal Team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture while providing strategic legal oversight. As a key member of the NA Leadership Team, you will contribute to leadership decisions, ensuring the execution of strategic priorities in a legally compliant manner. You will provide expert commercial, regulatory, and compliance advice, working closely with Corporate Legal Centres of Excellence and global legal teams on areas such as data privacy, intellectual property, M&A, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts to manage legal risk, drive commercial success, and deliver maximum value within agreed deadlines. You will proactively manage litigation and disputes to secure the best outcomes and oversee cost control with external advisers. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to streamline legal processes, simplify documentation, and improve multi-jurisdictional legal delivery. Ensuring legal compliance across NA operations, you will support internal governance frameworks and policies, aligning risk management with company tolerances. You will also play a critical role in high-value negotiations, including RFPs, complex enterprise and platform arrangements, and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) agreements. Furthermore, you will capture legal knowledge, build scalable legal assets, and drive efficiencies. Strong stakeholder management is essential, as you will develop relationships with business leaders, providing valuable legal support. You will also oversee regular legal training, including compliance topics such as the Code of Conduct, data privacy, and anti-bribery, while supporting key cross-functional initiatives. What are we looking for? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced legal leader with a proven track record in people management, coaching, and communication. You will excel at building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across the business to effectively manage legal and commercial risks while delivering strategic outcomes. As a trusted business partner, you will provide high-quality, practical legal advice in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. With exceptional analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, you will have extensive experience in complex commercial, technology, SaaS, and privacy matters. Your ability to apply deep legal expertise to solve complex commercial challenges will be crucial. You will embrace change, drive innovation, and seek continuous improvement in legal delivery to support business growth. A strategic thinker, you will focus on long-term objectives while leading and executing large legal initiatives, including cross-border matters. You will ensure legal compliance, policy implementation, and risk management within a business context while fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency. Experience in commercial litigation, compliance, and labour law is an advantage, as is a keen interest in technology, AI, and machine learning. A qualified attorney with at least two years of post-admission experience, you will thrive in a matrixed environment, thinking globally while delivering local impact.
