Job Description

Shift: 9a-5:30p Pacific time

The primary role of the Billing Support Specialist III is to perform administrative tasks in support of the client's billing department.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to the centralized billing inboxPerform time editsRespond to billing inquiries or redirect to the appropriate billerPrepare ad-hoc reports, providing analysis of financial and historical dataProvide backup billing assistance when the Biller is out of the officeAssist in obtaining timekeeper approval for Billing clientsPrepare invoices according to client billing guidelinesRespond to inquiries timely and effectivelyPrioritize and meet aggressive deadlines while handling a high volume of workBuild, maintain, and deliver professional customer service and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contact. This position requires routine communication with client contacts, and other personnel, both inside and outside the firmPerform other duties as assigned

QualificationsHigh School or GEDMore than 2 years of relevant billing, accounting, or financial experience directly related to the duties of the positionExperience with Aderant/CMS, Elite, or similar softwareProficiency with Outlook, Word, and ExcelExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to interact with clients in a professional, service-oriented mannerAbility to work independentlyAbility to prioritize tasks and complete work within established deadlinesAbility to thrive in a team environment and look for opportunities to provide additional supportExperience with some sort of billing platform/softwareExperience with various e-billing vendor portals preferredStrong attention to detailAbility to solve problems independently

Additional Information

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $60000 - $70000 annually. In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
