Legal Entity Controller (m/w/d)

Siemens Industry Software (SISW) Legal Entity Finance is responsible for the controlling as well as providing an implemented governance framework to ensure adequate operations across all businesses. Our mission is to ensure controlling and reporting of the legal entities in Austria & Switzerland and the coordination of the closing activities with all customers to provide correctness of legal entity books and records in line with local statutory requirements as well as with FRG. Under our Governance responsibility, we guide the organization to provide strong stewardship with respect to compliance, local guidelines and harmonized procedures and to ensure smooth business integrations.

As a partner to SISW AT & CH executive management, we apply our expertise in a wide range of topics in order to build an impact that drives change with improved financial results in a cross-border organization.


Role & Responsibility:

Consolidation and review of monthly financial figures between different reporting systems (2 SAP systems, ESPRIT, Hyperion Planning etc) as well as analysis of monthly resultsSupport monthly creation and update of management reporting package for legal entities incl. commentariesCoordination and consolidation of Forecast and Budgeting process incl. cash and balance sheet planningSupporting the monthly closing coordination for all entities within Switzerland and Austria and ensuring correctness and completeness of provisions and accruals in results, coordination of balance sheet reconciliations with the team and Hub Accounting teamSupporting the year end closing process as well as statutory auditsResponsible for transfer pricing related documentation and implementation of relevant guidelines as well as transfer pricing documentation for audits for all SISW legal entities in Austria and SwitzerlandEnsuring the alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, contact for internal and external auditsDriver of new initiatives such as reporting automation, digitalisation and constant change within the Legal Entity Operations team and beyond


What do you need to realize what matters:

5 years professional experience in Accounting/ControllingBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.High affinity to work with tools and applications (SAP, Tableau, PowerBI, Hyperion Planning, Excel, ppt) and continuous process improvementsCritical thinker with analytical skills and excellent attention to quality and detailOpen minded teammate acting as role modelStrong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingProven background in controlling, reporting and planningExcellent communicational and interpersonal skills, ability to get along with various organizational levels and drive new initiativesFluency in English and German languageWe look forward to receiving your detailed application documents!For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the salary for this position is EUR 3,828 gross/month with appropriate qualifications. Willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications is given!
