We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our New York-based Legal Team for an 8-week Paid Internship Program. This is a unique opportunity for a 1L law student to gain hands-on experience in corporate, securities, and capital markets law. The intern will work closely with the Legal Department, supporting various functions such as policy research, corporate governance, contract review, and regulatory compliance, including SEC and FINRA regulations. This position is scheduled to start on June 2, 2025, and conclude on August 1, 2025. Base compensation for this role is up to $25-$30 per hour. Throughout the program, the intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of corporate law, securities regulations, and legal operations in a financial services environment. You will have the opportunity to present your key learnings and contributions to the company at the conclusion of the internship. What You’ll Do:   + Assist with legal research and policy analysis related to corporate law, securities, and capital markets. + Support contract review and corporate governance tasks. + Contribute to regulatory compliance projects, including SEC and FINRA regulations. + Work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and other legal team members on day-to-day tasks. + Assist with drafting legal documents, memos, and reports. + Provide general legal support to the team on various initiatives. + Additional responsibilities, as assigned.
