Legal Internships Summer 2025 EOED

The EOED Summer internship program will run from approximately June 3, 2025, through August 2025. Interviews will be held virtually/in person. Salary is compensable with work experience and education level. The hourly rate will range from $18 - $21/hour.

Program Overview:

EOED’s Summer 2025 Legal Internship Program provides law students with hands-on experience in public service. Interns will engage in meaningful legal work within EOED's Office of General Counsel and OCABR agencies, including:

The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation (OCABR)The Division of Insurance (DOI)The Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL)

What You’ll Do: As a legal intern, you’ll:

Work on real-world legal assignments, gaining valuable on-the-job training.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, letters, and reports.Assist with administrative hearings, board meetings, and document reviews.Collaborate with experienced legal professionals to develop technical knowledge.Build professional relationships and contribute to meaningful projects.

Qualifications:

Law students preferredStrong research, writing, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Must have legal work authorization to work in the U.S.Commitment to a hybrid schedule, with 4-5 days of availability per week.
