Legal Marketing Specialist
**Responsibilities:** + Develop a deep knowledge of the firm's attorneys, clients, experience, and capabilities. + Learn to work with lawyers to develop individual business development plans or work in tandem with Director and outside consultant to develop business development plans. + Support partners with managing their contacts, including staying top-of-mind with key contacts, tracking, and organizing the partners’ ongoing efforts. + Collaborate with Director and partners to build the firm and individual partners visibility through events, sponsorships, and campaigns. Identify opportunities for attorneys to participate in speaking engagements and assist with deliverables, conduct research, and produce reports on prospects, existing clients, competitors, and target industries in support of BD activities. + Take ownership of CRM database and supervise the data entry process, list management and tracking of all business development activities (pre and post pitch activities, etc.). + Work with the Director to develop and produce client-facing materials related to pursuing new business including pitches, responding to RFP’s presentations, client meeting materials, etc. + Provide pitch and directory submission support: edit, proofread, draft, track matters and maintain materials such as pitches, proposals, lawyer profiles, annual directory submissions and similar materials. + Track ROI for all business development activities. + Other responsibilities as assigned and as the department, and firm grows. **Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required** + Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Marketing, or related field and experience. + Ability to think critically and analytically, creative problem-solving skills, and exhibit sound judgment. + Effective interpersonal and team working skills. In particular, an ability to develop effective collaborative relationships with partners, associates, paralegals, assistants and professionals in other administrative functions. + Ability to direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as manage workload and prioritize projects accordingly. + CRM and email marketing experience required (Hubspot experience a plus).
