Beacon Hill Legal's client, a national law firm, located in Albany, NY is seeking an onsite temporary legal office assistant for a 4-month coverage. The candidate must have 1+ years of experience in a law firm setting/law office process, have a working knowledge of legal documents, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. The candidate hired must commute to the office in Albany, NY 5x a week.


Qualifications

1+ years experience in a law firm setting Prior experience with law office processes; experience in litigation is a plusMust have data entry and typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Kofax PDF or similar programAbility to work in a team-based setting to support paralegals, legal secretaries and attorneysMust be highly dependable and able to work well in a team environment.Ability to eFile via NYSCEF and/or PACER; is a plusNotary Public license a plus

Responsibilities

Answer main telephone line; greet and screen guestsCreate and maintain case and mail listsLog and track all faxes and overnight deliveriesSave items to document managing system in a cohesive manner; experience with iManage a plusCopy and compile documents, CDs and flash drivesDownload document productions from external linksCoordinate conference room schedules
