About This Job
The Lending Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day operations as it relates to new and existing credit applications, with particular focus on supporting floor plan originations. Will work closely with the Pipeline Manager to ensure loans are processed in accordance with LV policies and procedures, manage pipeline of retail and commercial marine loans and identify opportunities to improve current processes.Responsibilities:
Maintains an understanding of all products, pricing, underwriting criteria and disclosures for all marine loan products, as per policies and procedures and federal regulations and can provide clear explanations to customer and dealers on related items pertaining to applications and closings, while establishing expectations with related parties
Ensures loans are originated, processed, and closed in accordance with LVF policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations
Analyzes applicable credit documentation to determine loan eligibility prior to submitting the loan for initial credit underwrite
Confirms all required credit documents and underwriting conditions have been satisfied prior to sending the loan to closing/funding; coordinates closings with internal and external customers; assists the Pipeline Manager in preparing credit packages for annual reviews by obtaining and analyzing borrower financial information
Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers
Provides support to Operations and Sales efforts as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
2+ year of credit underwriting/analyst experience
Strong communication skills
Auto lending experience is a plus
