Lending Operations Manager - Commercial Banking

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Manager in Commercial Banking as part of the Wholesale Lending Operations team.


In this role, you will:

Manage the activities of a Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan team responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activitiesEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Lending Operations functional areaIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional areaParticipate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelinesOversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policiesMake credit decisions and resolve issues regarding performance of a business unit or functional area to ensure business objectives are metInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity, and with accountability for special portfolio segments requiring focused managementCollaborate and consult with Lending Operations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customersManage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Leadership experience

Commercial loan documentation, preparation, or review experienceEquipment leasing and/or secured lending finance experienceLeadership skills including coaching, training, and mentoringAbility to develop and manage business relationshipsAbility to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find informationEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsDocumentation creation and/or documentation review and funding experienceExperience reviewing control reportsExperience analyzing dataKnowledge and understanding of auditProject management experienceKnowledge and understanding of collateral perfection processExperience with Siebel Originations System and InfoLease System

Job Expectations:

Ability to work additional hours as needed. Work in one of the posted locations below on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office / 2 days remotely or per Wells Fargo policy.
