Summary

The Biological Sciences program invites applications for a LEO Adjunct Lecturer, non-tenure-track appointment which begins September 3, 2024 through December 20, 2024 for the FALL 2024 term. Contractual full-time rate per term is $25,500; term salary is dependent on number of courses taught and course effort percentage, up to 33.33% appointment for the Fall 2024 term. The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching in person modality for the following  courses:  

BIOL 103L section 002: Anatomy and Physiology I lab at 16.7% effort
BIOL 103L section 006: Anatomy and Physiology I lab at 16.7% effort

Required Qualifications*

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biology or related fieldPrevious teaching experience

Desired Qualifications*

Expertise in human biology or organismal biology as evidenced by research, employment, or teaching backgroundExperience in instructional approaches utilizing models and dissection

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
