The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology is seeking applications for a 66.67% LEO Lecturer I position teaching MCDB 310, Introductory Biochemistry. The appointment is for Summer Half Term 2025 only (June 26 - August 15, 2025).  

Terms and conditions of employment for this position as posted are subject to the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers Employee Organization.

Required Qualifications*

The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in the course MCDB 310 "Introductory Biochemistry" offered by the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan. 

Desired Qualifications*

Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.

The anticipated date by which an offer will be made is no later than March 28, 2025. The appointment opportunity described in this posting is subject to final approval by the academic unit.

Selection Process
