Level 1 AP ED Overflow
URGENT BACKFILL ED Overflow NO NP shift may be 8a-8p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a- weekends and weekdays. BLS, ACLS, PALS req 13+ shifts per month must provide flexibility for 13 shifts To be eligible for privileges in Emergency Department (ED) Overflow, the applicant must meet at least one of the following criteria: • Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in family practice, emergency medicine, or medicine/pediatrics. The applicant must also be able to demonstrate that he or she has been in active practice within the last two years. OR • Current enrollment in and successful completion of at least one year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty (to include family practice; emergency medicine; medicine/pediatrics; internal medicine; pediatrics; or "rotating ") Residency Director approval must also be obtained. OR • One year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty (to include family practice; emergency medicine; medicine/pediatrics; internal medicine; pediatrics; or "rotating ") and active full-time practice in general primary care for at least two years.
