Position Role Type:

We are looking for a new Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join our team! This is an onsite role based out of Jamestown, North Dakota; may be eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do:

Perform a Liaison function between Manufacturing, Design Engineering and external customers.

Work with Quality, Design, Manufacturing & Stress Engineers to determine root cause failure analysis when required.

Disposition non-conforming material conditions for product built in our manufacturing facility.

Identify repeat rejection situations, create presentations that clearly convey the problem and initiate internal company and external customer design change requests to address the problem.

Work across a wide range of programs, parts (mechanical and electrical), materials (metallic & composites) and finishes/coatings.

Interact with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers.

Ability to present to customers and levels of leadership internally & externally.

Assist with Standard Work processes to continuously improve process and work instructions.

Analyze complex dimensional non-conformances.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent preferred

Experience dispositioning non-conforming product

Experience working within SAP

Strong understanding or Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

Strong understanding of ANSI Y14.5M-1994 (drawing interpretation)

Experience with Siemens Products (Team Center, Unigraphics)

Experience with Dassault Products (CATIA V5, CADAM)

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
