We have an exciting opportunity for a part time License Renewal Planner. This exciting role will perform work package planning for License Renewal (and Subsequent License Renewal) required inspections. This position will be focused on Duane Arnold Energy Center in Palo, IA, though the work can be completed remotely. This role can be part time or full time. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Imagine a day where you develop work orders for license renewal inspections, streamline planning processes, and coordinate with engineering teams. You'll also build client relationships, lead field inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

 

Work Order Development & Planning: Develop work orders to perform license renewal inspections of plant components. Utilize nuclear plant work planning experience to streamline work package planning process and help mentor planners to reduce errorsCoordination & Communication: Coordinate and interface with site and ENERCON engineering disciplines. Develop professional relationships with client counterparts. Resolve technical issues via site walkdowns, personal experience, and communication with client counterparts such as planners, Craft, Operations, etcLeadership & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate field/plant leadership by providing identification and resolution to potential inspection issuesCompliance & Safety: Understand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directivesTime Management & Performance: Meet applied time goals set for position/discipline Qualifications Minimum education requirement is an associate’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 10+ years’ of work package planningExperience planning in SAP or NAMS desiredExperience working in a Nuclear Power Plant environmentUnderstand roles played by other disciplines on the project and is able to coordinate and interface with engineering disciplinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to easily travel to plant to support walk-downs or attend work planning meetings a plus, but not essential
