Make a Difference in Crisis Mental Healthcare | 13-Week Contract (potential for more longevity)

Position Details:

Facility: 18-Bed Crisis Stabilization Unit Schedule: NOC Shift (9 PM – 7 AM), 4 days/week Location: Santa Rosa, CA – Heart of Wine Country Duration: 13-week contract with potential for extension

Transform Lives Through Crisis Mental HealthcareJoin our dynamic Crisis Stabilization Unit, where your clinical expertise will directly impact individuals during critical moments of need. As a Licensed Clinical Professional, you’ll provide essential mental health services as part of our multidisciplinary team.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments including mental health symptoms, substance use, environmental factors, and complex physical conditions Provide individual, family, and group counseling as needed during crisis interventions Develop and implement person-centered service plans focused on recovery and stabilization Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality care and meaningful outcomes Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for seamless care transitions Create thorough discharge plans ensuring appropriate follow-up care Maintain detailed clinical documentation meeting all regulatory requirements

Clinical Impact:

Lead crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts Provide therapeutic interventions during acute mental health crises Collaborate with emergency services and community partners Assess and monitor client progress throughout their stay Connect clients with appropriate community resources and support Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination

Required Qualifications:

Active California License as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment Strong clinical decision-making abilities Excellence in clinical documentation Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
