ResponsibilitiesManage behavioral health daily operations.
Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan and vision.Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services.Oversee performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
One or more of the following:Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.LBSI (Learning Behavior Specialist) certification also accepted in lieu of.Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Special Education STRONGLY PREFERRED
Minimum 3 years Behavioral Health experience with focus in AUTISM or DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Minimum 1 year prior leadership experience
Monday - Friday with 2 evenings (7:00 PM latest end time) on site
