The Opportunity

The Licensed Caregiver – LPN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.

What You’ll Do

Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressingSupporting residents with medication.Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the communityToileting, incontinent careTake vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulseObserve and report on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectivelyDetail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shiftProvide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved onesRecognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisorPerform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly.Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices.Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication.

What You’ll Bring

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of age.Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.Demonstrates effective time management skills.High school graduate or equivalent.Must have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state.Current CPR certification. Maintain CEU requirements.Read, write, speak and understand the English language.Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.Staff supervisionAssessment and resident care skills;Medication management principles and practice; andWritten and verbal communication skills.
