Job Posting Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Frisco) Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday Day shift Rotating on call coverage Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Provide screening to patients that have endorsed suicidality as assessed by the ASQ + Provide screening to patients and/or parents of patients that have expressed concerns about non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, and/or homicidal ideation during the course of their medical care + Respond to consultation requests from medical teams regarding concerns for urgent and on-demand mental, emotional, or behavioral health needs + Partner with psychology and/or family services departments for further assessment and coordination, as needed + Develop care plans and/or treatment plans in accordance with risk findings and assessment of clinical needs + Provide case management in follow-up care to ensure successful access to services, as needed + Support mandated reporting procedures associated with recommended care plans + Coordinate appropriate referrals to internal and/or external mental health care when applicable + Identify, maintain, and share knowledge of resources in communities in which Scottish Rite patients reside Required Skills/Abilities + Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW (required) + English (required) + Spanish (preferred) + Experience with crisis intervention and/or risk assessment required + Experience in a pediatric mental health setting required + Experience in a hospital setting preferred + Interest in clinical practice within the social services field + Experience working with athletes (Frisco location, preferred) At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
