Mobile crisis services in Frederick County are designed for individuals of any age who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team provides in-person crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate services and resources.
What to expect.
This is an opportunity to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and relief to individuals in the community who are experiencing a behavioral health related crisis.
Specific responsibilities include:
Providing immediate interventions and support to address acute symptoms of mental illness, alcohol or drug use, or emotional distress. Assessing the need for crisis services, follow-up interventions, and transition plans, as clinically indicated. Must possess one of the following at time of hire:Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Two years of positively referenced work, student, or volunteer experience. A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
