Description:Loyola University & Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a LCPC/LCSW in the Outpatient Counseling Clinic - Berwyn, Illinois. The Behavioral Health team is seeking future colleagues with a passion to provide advanced behavioral health knowledge and skills including direct and indirect assessment and care to patients and families, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, behavioral health education and problem solving in all clinical care areas.

Position Summary:
Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists and primary care providers for coordinated psychiatric patient care. Provides biopsychosocial assessments, individual/family as needed, as well as case management services as required. This position is to supports referrals from inpatient units, intensive outpatient program and providers in the ambulatory setting seeking mental health services for their patients.

Position Responsibilities:
ASSESSMENT: Assesses patient's mental and social functioning by conducting biopsychosocial assessments and charting accordingly. Provides appropriate case management referrals for Department patients as required and/or appropriate to community resources.

COUNSELING: this generalist position works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to provide individual/couples/family/group therapy as indicated by patient's needs to full age spectrum on a wide variety of patient issues.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: May work in concert with the ambulatory behavioral health team and other ambulatory providers to identify opportunities for outreach and support groups. Is responsible for the development and coordination of said groupsQUALITY: Participates in departmental and system wide performance
improvement and quality initiatives. Maintain appropriate charting documentation per Loyola and Department Policy. Documents in EPIC all pertinent patient information by the close of each business day. Properly codes and submits bill for relevant and approved services. Reports potential risk or quality management issues to department manager of director.

•    Master's degree required in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
•    Certification/Licensure: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively.
•    Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations.
