Licensed Electrician, Maintenance Plant Operations, 1.0 (Full-time) Shifts Varied
Maintains electrical equipment in good condition. Repairs and installs hospital's electrical systems and equipment.

Installs, repairs, and maintains plant electrical systems, including power distribution and branch circuits, lighting distribution and branch circuits, motors and motor circuits, and associated equipment devices.

Installs, repairs, maintains, and operates plant emergency generation equipment and associated distribution systems, equipment, and devices.

Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical control systems.

Troubleshoots problems in electrical and electronic systems and equipment.

Assembles, installs, repairs and maintains other various Mechanical systems and equipment.

Assists and acts as a resource for other maintenance staff with regard to electrical problems or issues.

Reads, interprets and utilizes blueprints and schematics as required for job performance. Utilizes applicable electrical and building codes.


Minimum Education
-2 years post high school vocational/ specialized training as required by State of Michigan □ Preferred X Required

Required Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Licenses
Electrician
- Valid Electrician License, required.

- Valid State of Michigan Drivers License, required.

Minimum Work Experience
At least 3 years of related work experience. Required.
