Licensed Nurse, Assertive Community Treatment, Belcamp, MD ($5,000 Sign-on Bonus)

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) programs provide comprehensive, mobile treatment services for adults with a persistent mental health illness. The program is for individuals who have not found success in traditional outpatient settings and who require individualized treatment services when and where it’s needed.

What to expect.

This is an opportunity to help your clients, who may struggle with accessing standard care, meet their goals and ensure they receive the treatment they need.

Specific responsibilities include:

Helping clients achieve their treatment goals in partnership with the treatment team. Communicating and coordinating services with outside medical providers. Overseeing medication management under the direction of the team prescriber. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, their support system, community agencies, and the Sheppard Pratt organization to provide comprehensive care.

Work hours typically follow a Monday – Friday schedule. Must have availability for occasional evening and/or weekend work. You will have independence and flexibility to schedule your appointments and complete your work under the program director’s direct approval and supervision.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. Possession of a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Maryland: Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
