Wage Scale: $32.19-$43.46
Sign on bonus: 10,000.00 with a 2-year commitment
Provide brief, solution-focused therapy to adults, children/adolescents and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues. Work directly with managed care companies and insurers to assure optimal delivery of services. Complete clinical and administrative data entry and paperwork in an effective, timely manner. Participate in occasional community presentations and marketing efforts. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and respect for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.
Essential Functions
Responsible for clinical counseling services of assigned consumers. Document services and maintains the medical record for assigned consumers.Work independently and manages work time and resources effectively Use clinical supervision and/or consultation when appropriate and as assigned.Work effectively under pressure handling demands from multiple sources professionally.Exemplify a team concept.Possess good oral and written communication skills.Achieve productivity standards set by Program Manager.Demonstrate ability to interact in a community setting, working closely with other professionals and staff whoare not part of the employee’s organization.Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population, culture and
specific needs of the consumers served.
Qualifications and requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences required.Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of consumers served in the department.Experience: Two (2) years’ of supervised experience providing mental health services with children and families.Required Certification: Washington State Licensure in Mental Health, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.Required License: Washington State Driver’s License.Other: Commitment to maintaining productivity expectations, clinical, and administrative paperwork. Ability to work with culturally diverse population. Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
