Our NovaCare Leonardtown MD outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply. An ideal candidate has at least one year of practice in an OP ortho setting. Aquatics experience is a PLUS!
Our highly trained and respected onsite clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We average 11 patients per day. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours Weekdays (M-F) to include treating until 630P twice a week. Last patient scheduled an hour prior.
Compensation: starting at $25.00 based on experience

Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
