Responsibilities:

Draw blood for diagnostic testing or treatment purposes, adhering to established procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and the PA Department of Health. Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and intravenous (IV) drip methods, ensuring patient safety and accuracy. Assist physicians during patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight) to assess each patient’s general condition. Follow internal policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure consistency and high-quality patient treatment. Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort. Accurately document all activities, interventions, patient/family responses, and prescribed medications in the medical record.
