Licensed Practical Nurse | Surgical Care Unit

Help make a difference in the lives of our patients and find your purpose providing care and dignity to the Surgical Care patient population!  Care for those who are admitted after surgery from the General Surgeons, Vascular Surgery, OBGYN (hysterectomy), ENT, Urology, Plastics, and Trauma Surgery. 

Join this award-winning team at the St Cloud Hospital Surgical Care Unit.  This team was recognized for receiving the PRISM award that celebrates medical-surgical units that sustain excellence.  This is the first unit in Minnesota to receive this nationally recognized award, TWICE!

In this role, you’ll work on a team led by a Registered Nurse, where you’ll participate in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for our patients, providing them a high standard of care within all guidelines, policies and regulations. 

To succeed, you’ll need to work well independently and with others, and have the desire and ability to communicate well with coworkers, patients and their families. You should be able to assess and solve problems, switch gears swiftly and be able to adapt to handle multiple tasks in a short period of time.

Schedule

Part-time or Full-time | Onsite Rotating day/night | 12-hour shifts | 7am-7:30pm & 7pm-7:30am Every other weekend (Fri-Sun) | Every other holiday Set weekend schedule allows you to self-schedule your weekday shifts

Pay and Benefits: 

Starting pay begins at $21.85 per hour and increases with experience Pay range:  $21.85 - $32.76 per hour $2,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates! benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited LPN program Current Minnesota LPN License  Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
