As an LPN with the State of Connecticut, you will coordinate high-volume medications and treatments, provide tracheostomy care, conduct oxygen therapy, and perform wound care, including wound vac treatments. Your responsibilities also include managing feeding tubes, ensuring accurate IV certification and administration, and delivering compassionate care to residents. You will maintain strict adherence to safety and health protocols while successfully implementing care plans developed by the healthcare team. To be considered for this role, candidates should have : + Current LPN licensure in the state of Connecticut + Considerable experience with feeding tubes + Strong ability to coordinate medications and treatments efficiently + Valid driver's license + Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as needed + Ability to acquire Medical Administration Certification from the Department of Developmental Services Work Schedule This position is for the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Friday-Tuesday, from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS License or temporary permit to practice nursing in Connecticut by the State Board of Examiners for Nursing. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES: Incumbents in this class may be required to possess and retain a valid Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator's license, Public Passenger Endorsement or Commercial Driver's license for designated positions.
