Position Details:

Location: Phoenix, AZSchedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, 40 hours per weekHourly Pay Range: $30 - $34 (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general nursing care, administer prescribed medications, and perform IV catheter placement and monitoring.Conduct nursing assessments, vital signs, and provide age-specific education to patients.Monitor patients during infusions, respond to emergencies, and document interventions.Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the EMR.Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.Support colleagues and participate in all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proficient in intravenous catheter placement and monitoringStrong assessment and monitoring skills for medication reactionsSkilled in drawing labs using aseptic techniquesCompetent in performing subcutaneous injections and monitoring site reactionsKnowledge of infection control precautions and sterile techniquesAbility to provide age-appropriate education to diverse patient populationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenEffective interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong computer skills, including proficiency in EMR systems

Essential Functions:

Greet patients and ensure timely and safe careAdminister prescribed medications according to drug protocol and within the scope of practicePerform vital signs and nursing assessments for each patientProvide patient education and answer questions about treatmentsReview and educate patients on biologic questions and medication policiesFollow the Five Rights of medication administrationObserve, record, and report patients’ conditions and reactionsMaintain accurate documentation in the patient’s EMRMonitor patients closely and prioritize care based on complexityRespond confidently to emergencies and follow ordered interventionsAdhere to OSHA and HIPAA guidelinesSupport colleagues with patient care and other duties as assigned
